Twin schools build relations

articlemain

The head of a Northern Galil school has visited Manchester as part of UJIA’s School to School twinning project.

North Cheshire Jewish Primary School head Jackie Savage hosted the fact-finding mission from Gila Mickel from the Kerner School in Meona and Lenna Rosenberg, head of the Clore Tikva Primary in Redbridge.

They and other school representatives shared ideas on best practice and on how to take the partnerships forward.

North Cheshire and Clore Tikva are the only UK primaries involved in the twinning venture.

There are plans for Mrs Savage to visit the Galil school in December, and for North Cheshire’s year-six to go to Clore Tikva during a London trip next summer.
