BENNETT. Rachel (nee Selt) and Scott are thrilled to announce the birth of their daughter, Luna Sloane, on August 8, 2017, a little sister and playmate for Mila. Mazeltov to grandparents Lauren and Wayne, Leisa and Michael and to delighted great-grandparents Basil, Estelle and John, Gilda and Michael, Jeannette and Sidney. Named in loving memory of Lynda Lobell who would have been so proud.

BLOOM. Tamara and David are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Raya Leora Grace, on August 13, honouring Robert, Lorna and Gerry respectively. A sister for Nathan and more joy for Bella, Rochelle and Ian.

FRIEDLER. Amber, Josh and Hugo are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter and sister, Flora Bee, on August 14. Mazeltov to grandparents Candy and Robert Silverstone and Iris and Michael Friedler and great-grandparents Leo Friedler, and Rachel and Oded Shoval. Remembering with love those no longer with us.

ADAMS. Greta. Our dear friend Greta, who will be remembered for her happy and sunny nature, positive outlook and love of Israel. She will be very much missed by all of us at Olim Wizo.

ALTMANN. Marlene. Our adored wife, mother, gua and great-gua sadly passed away on Saturday night and we are all lost without her. She will be greatly missed by John, her loving husband and partner of 62 years, her devoted children Alisa and Haim, Danny and Rosemary and her adored grandchildren Natalie, Joel, Eli, Ethan, Joshua, Georgina, Jake, Heidi-Jane and Millie. Forever in our hearts and thoughts.

BOWMAN. Essie. We are deeply saddened by the passing of our dear sister, aunt, great-aunt and great-great-aunt after a short illness, aged 96. Now at peace with her dear husband Bernie. She will be sorely missed by all her family and friends.

BRASS. Dr Paul. Passed away on Saturday, August 5, 2017.

FILER. Lesley. A true eshet chayil, who left us so suddenly on August 11. She was the matriarch of our family. She will be greatly missed by all who had the happiness of knowing her.ª Husband David, daughters Lynda, Debra, Penny, Gail and eleven grandchildren.

GLADSTONE. Iris. So saddened by the sudden and unexpected passing of Iris. She was part of our family for so many years, always living life to the full. She will never be forgotten.ª Janice, Malcolm, Barbara, Michael, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

LEWIS. Veronique. Our much-loved sister-in-law and aunt passed away peacefully after a short illness. Always remembered for her rich Moroccan heritage and warmth that she brought to our family. She will be deeply missed by the Goulden, Alberga and Ezra families.

MENDOZA. Eleanor (nee Goodman). Died on August 9, 2017, aged 88. An articulate, kind and clever lady, who lived life with intensity. Missed by a wide circle of family and friends. Deeply mourned by her son, David.

NATHAN. Carole. Passed away suddenly on August 5, 2017. An elegant and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her children Jackie and Simon and all the family.

PRESKY. Harold. Passed away peacefully at home, at the age of 91, having had a full and wonderful life. He was a special man and will be forever in our hearts.ª With love, Howard, Hilary, Oliver, Zoe, Zak, Orly, Sabrina, Andrew and Marnie.

SHONFIELD. Leonard. My dearest, beloved Leonard, soulmate for nearly 62 years, passed away peacefully aged 92. A true gentleman, much loved by all, who will be greatly missed by his loving wife Evelyn, children Paul, Louise, David and daughter-in-law Diana and adored grandchildren Marcus and Judith. Shalom.
