GROSS. With gratitude to the Almighty, Juliet and Benjamin are delighted to announce the safe arrival of a daughter, Miriam Adia. Granddaughter for Alan and Sharon Lightstone and Michael and Danielle Gross and great-granddaughter for Jack and Angela Cooper.

SANETT. Paul and Ariel are delighted to announce the birth of their son Oliver Alexander, on June 8, in Chicago. First grandchild for Keith and Marilyn Sanett and Neil and Wendy Freeman (Chicago).

SLAVIN. Suzanne and Jamie are delighted to announce the arrival of, Ruby Sofia, on June 19. Mazeltov to Diane and Robert Goldman on their first granddaughter, to Pam and Jeff Slavin on their second granddaughter and to Ros Wexler on her second great-grandchild.

STELLMAN. Judith and Robert are thrilled to announce the birth of Rachel Ilona (Rachel Meira). A first granddaughter for Eva and Henri Stellman and another lovely granddaughter for Hilary and Martin Livingston and great-granddaughter for Elizabeth Green, Joyce Livingston and Anna Stellman.


RACHEL GAON AND DOVI SOFFER The engagement is announced between Rachel Helene and Dovi. Mazeltov to parents Bernice and Allen Gaon and Malky and Shachar Soffer. Mazeltov also to grandparents Maureen and Ivan Lopatkin, Poldy Gaon and Gita and Sinai Sonnenberg. Always fondly remembering the late Raymond Gaon z'l and the late Marcelle and Khadoori Soffer z'l.

DANIEL MURRAY and MELISSA SERTER Thrilled to announced the engagement between Daniel, beloved son of Andrea and the late Howard Murray and Melissa, dearest daughter of Yarushka and the late Emre Serter. Mazeltov.

SOPHIE SAYERS and ADAM GILLARD We are delighted to announce the engagement between Sophie, daughter of Carol and Clive Sayers, and Adam, son of Kay and Stephen Gillard. Mazeltov to grandmother Elizabeth Gillard and both families.


BURNSIDE. Michael. Passed away Shabbat, June 17. Deeply mourned by Estelle, his wife of 63 years, and by children Vivienne and Farley, Alec, David and Rachel, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Benjamin Bernstein, Anita, relatives and many friends. A man of great courage and determination, intellect and drive, professional achievement and personal enthusiasms. He overcame adversity and lived a long and fulfilled life, and we shall miss him more than words can say. He was an example to us all.

CHOWCAT. Dinah. Deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved Auntie Dinah. We will miss her always. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Jonathan, Naomi and Shirley and their families.ª Laurence, Judy and Stephen, Neil and Valerie and families.

DA COSTA. Alan. We will never forget his kindnes to my late parents.ª Sister-in-law Joyce and family.

DUBOW. Geraldine. Now at peace. Our wonderful mum, grandma and mother-in-law, passed away aged 57 after a long illness borne with dignity, determination and strength. We will miss her terribly and she will always be in our hearts.ª Francesca, Charles, Daniel, Matthew and Charlotte.

DUBOW. Geraldine. We are devastated at the passing of Geraldine, daughter of Sheila and sister of Steven, after many years of ill heath. She was an amazing woman who inspired her children to fulfil their full potential in whatever they did. We will miss her more than words can say.ª Mum and Steven.

FREEMAN. Anne. Beloved sister of Jeremy and Simon and sisters-in-law Susie and Debbie, adored aunt of nieces Zara and Kezia and nephew Joel. She overcame half a lifetime of illnesses to follow her passions, singing and her community, and she was loved and admired by all her knew her.

GRABINER. Eva Pamela. It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of our beloved mother and dear grandma, who passed away peacefully at Nightingale House. She will be greatly missed.ª David, Robert, Avril, Natasha and Sophie Silver.

LEE. Irene. We are utterly devastated by the sudden loss of our beloved Irene. The most wonderful daughter, sister, auntie, sister-in-law and friend that anyone could wish for. Taken from us far too soon, leaving a void that will never be filled. She will remain forever in our hearts.ª Mum Jean, sister Gail, Vike, Veronica, Nikki, Luke, Michael and Sophie.

NEWMARK. Freda. My beautiful, loving and caring wife passed away June 13. We danced through life together with wonderful memories. I miss her so much. I will always love her. A big thank you to the staff and residents at Hilary Dennis Court for their sympathy and kindness during my bereavement.ª Her loving husband Gus, son Clive, daughter-in-law Agnes, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

OLSBERG. Beverley. In loving memory of a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and sister, who passed away in Newton, Massachusetts, on June 17. She will be deeply mourned by Peter, Isobel, Simon and Marla, Marion, Oshri, Eden, Alex, Lev and Anna.
