JACOBS. The arrival of Arthur Denry, on April 13, not only delighted his parents Becky and Ben but also absolutely thrilled everyone in their and Arthur's families.

LATNER. Jo (nee Wolffe) and Richard are delighted to announce the birth of their daughter, Isabelle Poppy, on April 8, a sister for Jack and a first granddaughter for Caron, Laurence, Jennifer and Stephen. Mazeltov to all grandparents and to great-grandmothers Rita and Beattie.

BENJAMIN. Phyllis. Much loved and deeply mourned by her children Cheryl and Michael, Sandra, Michael and Helen and sister Helen, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who passed away on April 18. Will be greatly missed and now reunited with her husband Bernie and son Anthony.

BENJAMIN. Phyllis. Died April 18, 2017. Very sadly missed by all the Shapps family. May her dear soul rest in peace. Shalom.

BOURNE. Maxine. Our beloved mum, grandmother, gran-gran, mum-in-law and auntie died on April 14. We miss her every day. There will be a formal stonesetting early next year.ª Deborah, Sarah, Zak, Lucien, David, Stephen, Simon and Ronit.

COHEN. Katie (nee Noorian). Our daughter-in-law, a much-loved and adored wife, sister-in-law and aunt passed away peacefully, far too soon, leaving her devoted family heartbroken. She was so courageous and inspirational and our hearts go out to our son Daniel, her sister Rebecca and brother Daniel.ª Sandra and Stewart, with Amanda and Noah and all the staff at La Boucherie.

COHEN. Katie. With great sadness we mourn the passing of Katie, adored wife of Daniel. Her battle is over, but she leaves behind a lesson in courage and love to all who had the good fortune to know her. Our condolences to Daniel and all the families.ª Elaine, Joe and family.

CROWN. Anthony. A wonderful, kind and loving husband, father and grandfather. Loved by all who knew him. His humour and calming presence will be sorely missed and impossible to replace. The battle is over, now may his beautiful soul rest in peace.ª Gill, Dan, Lisa, Joshua and Giacomo.

ELMAN. Anita. A wonderful, caring lady and role model, who led by example and was an inspiration to us all. A perfect wife, mother, grandmother, relative and friend, who also undertook a tremendous amount of charity work under the mantra of what counts is 'actions not words'. Passed away on April 21 and sorely missed by son Ralph, Annie and grandchildren Lauren, Daniel and Ben and their partners. May she rest in peace.

ELMAN. Anita. Devastated. My darling sister and friend for 90 years passed away suddenly. I will miss her terribly. May she rest in the peace she so richly deserves.ª Phyllis Enfield, nieces and nephews Avis, Neil, Mike, Clare and their families.

ELMAN. Anita. A remarkable lady, who will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Barbara and grandchildren Daniel, Ben and Becca. May her dear soul rest in peace.

ELMAN. Anita. Our dear aunt passed away April 21, aged 92, after a short illness, so soon after her son. A charitable, determined and independent lady. Condolences to Auntie Phyllis, Ralph and family. Greatly missed by Shelagh, Haim and family.

GOLLOW. Jo. My dearest husband passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 18, after a short illness. Together for 34 years he is already so deeply missed and will be remembered with love forever.ª Jude.

GOLLOW. Joseph Leon. Poppa Jo. A charismatic gentleman with a huge presence. Jo was our patriarch and has left an unfillable void in our lives. GREEN. Gloria (nee Mintz). Beloved wife of Frank Green z'l. A wonderful mother to Lauren Petschek, Janis and Assaf Admoni and Howard Brown; an amazing grandmother as well. She will be sorely missed by all of us.

GREEN. Gloria. Our darling sister Gloria passed away Monday, but her sparkle and wit will always be with us. She will be sadly missed by her many friends in England and Israel. JOSEPHS. Michael Stanley. Left us on April 20, aged 94. Much-loved and devoted husband to Brenda for 63 years of wonderful partnership. Loving, caring and fun father, grandfather and loyal friend will be sadly missed by Rosemary, Tracey, David, Ben, Isabelle, Phoebe, Bea, Paul, Jane and Sonya.

JOSEPHS. Michael Stanley. Much-loved and respected brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. A true mensch, who will be remembered with great affection by Michael, Dvora, Rachel, Mark, Xenia, Noah, Hannah and Alfie.

JOSEPHS. Michael. Our dear friend for over 60 years. We shared glad times and sad times and so many holidays together. We will miss generous, witty, elegant Michael more than we can say. Our hearts go out to dearest Brenda, Rosemary, Tracy and David.ª Anita, Jeffrey and family.

KOPELMAN. Manfred. Passed away on April 23, 2017, aged 92. Beloved father of daughter Ruth, son Michael, son-in-law Stephen, daughter-in-law Susan, grandchildren Sara, Marc, Adam and Nina. The best of the best. Forever in our hearts.

LEVY. Betty. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on 8th day Pesach. She will be hugely missed, and cherished forever, in the hearts of her adoring husband Ralph, daughter Beverley, son Robert, sons-in-law David and Craig, daughter-in-law Karen, grandchildren Rebecca, Edward, Georgina, Jessica, Martha, Lotte and Finky, with James and Rachel, and great-grandchildren Oscar, Archer and Milo. Now reunited with our most beloved Hilary.

LIGHTMAN. Leslie. Sadly passed away peacefully on April 22, aged 94. Mourned by Ruth, Barry, Laurence and Linda, together with Sam and Asher, Emma and Marc, Simon and Debbie, and Amanda and Matt, and also Jonah, Ella, Mia, Zac, Evie, Tali, Aaron and Rafi.

LIPTON. Gerald. 60 plus years of friendship will never be forgotten. Our loving thoughts are with Wendy, Carolyn, Jane, Sam and Tim, together with their families.ª Leon, Berta, David, Gaby, Andrew, Pammy, John and Heather.

LIPTON. Gerald MBE. Every year he would give up a Sunday for the Nightingale Bazaar and bring his twinkling smile and endless patience to ensure that the day ran smoothly. He sorted the many problems that happened on "the day". It was just one of many good things that he did. But to us he was a mensch.ª The Bazaar Committee.

MOSS. Amanda. Deeply saddened by the loss of our niece and cousin, taken so young. Will be forever missed.ª Myrna and Russell and Bernice, Lewis, Bradley and Ashley.

NEAD. Esther (nee Lewis). Passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, aged 95. She will always be lovingly remembered and we will truly miss her forever.ª Sons Barry and Richard and daughters-in-law Debbie and Janette.

She embraced life with the most extraordinary energy and we were so blessed to have her as our guiding light. Her joyous smile illuminated our lives and she touched so many others with her grace and kindness. So sorely missed by her children Ian, Alysa and Michael; her brother Lenny and sister-in-law Sally; her daughters-in-law Toni and Marianna; her grandchildren Federico, George, Joseph and Daniel, as well as her great-grandchildren Salomee and Milo and all her extended family and dear friends.

ROSENFELD. Patricia. Devastated by the very sad and tragic passing of our dear Paddy, who bore her short illness with such dignity and tenacity. She will be forever missed.
