Corrections and complaints

The Jewish Chronicle seeks to correct errors as quickly as possible. Email complaints@thejc.com if you have a complaint. We are regulated by IPSO, the independent press regulator. IPSO can be contacted on 0300 1232220 or at ipso.co.uk. The Editor's Code can be viewed here

Complaints submitted directly to the JC are reviewed by the Managing Editor/ Standards Officer. The Managing Editor, will discuss with relevant senior managers, including the Editor and Deputy Editor, and decide if any action needs to be taken. This could include corrections online and in print.

Print corrections appear on the letters page. Online corrections appear at the foot of the relevant story.

Complaints made to IPSO directly are reviewed by the Managing Editor. The Managing Editor will first discuss with the relevant journalists and then respond accordingly to the complainant and to IPSO.

Legal complaints will be reviewed by the Managing Editor and the Deputy Editor.
