A session on Zionism with the Redbridge community’s Israeli emissary, Orly Kenig, completed the latest Diploma in Judaism course at Ilford Federation Synagogue led by minister Rabbi Alex Chapper.

Over four years, there have been 150 graduates of the diploma — accredited by the London School of Jewish Studies — both Ilford Federation members and others from the locality. “Its success was driven by a thirst for knowledge,” Rabbi Chapper said.
