JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
- BRAD GAYER (Fairlop FC) - trademark sensational lob over Brady keeper Ollie Shields from 30 yards
- AVI KORMAN (Hendon Utd) - Zack Lewis’ free-kick was blocked to about 25 yards out and Avi met it first time with a strike that was past the keeper and into the top corner without him even seeing it
- ZACH MANDEL (Hertswood Vale) - bagged his first goal for the Vale with an absolute rocket from 25 yards out early in the first half to spark scenes in the Vale ranks. Pick that one out!
- JOSH GORB (Hertswood Vale) - stunning solo effort - picked up a loose ball deep within the Vale half and ran the entire length of the pitch, evading an attempted challenge from their defender to slot cooly beyond the keeper
- LEWIS RACKHAM (Redbridge JC A) - RJC's fourth goal was like Subbuteo football. Keeper Akiva Liberman picked out winger Jamie Bernstein with great lofted kick. Bernstein showed great technical ability to bring the ball down like Berbatov and played a wonderful volleyed pass into the channels for for Nate Kashket to run on to and deliver a stunning first-time cross for debutant Lewis to tuck away. JC SAVE OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
- STEVEN MURAD (Los Camden A) - with the scores level after 84 minutes, a deep Raiders cross into the box was met with a fierce strike from Aron Gale - cue an outstanding reaction save high to his left. Murad was able to produce this piece of magic tipping the ball over the bar, Camden went on to win and simply owe to this moment of brilliance
- JAMES VAN STRATEN (Jewdinese) - the ball was chipped towards the back post, over Ben Halmer, however James Van Straten unbelievably got his head to the ball to clear a certain goal
- MARC GLUCKSMAN (Oakwood Old Boys) - made two fantastic one on one saves to keep his team in the game
- BEN HALMER (Jewdinese) - put his body on the line with two-point blanks in a grandstand finish
- JARED CLEIN (Haroldeans) - stunning match-winning save late in the game against Hendon

We dominated and played superbly throughout. I’m extremely proud of the boys and undoubtedly the best result in the history of the club. To be in the final eight is an incredible achievement but we don’t want to stop there. I believe this journey may have only just begun"

HAROLDEANS 2 HENDON UNITED SPORTS 1
Adam Shiffman scored twice, including a 75th minute winner, as Haroldeans caused one of the shocks of the round as they beat former winners Hendon United out of the competition.
Avi Korman's wonder goal put Hendon in front, but Haroldeans rallied and Shiffman scored via set-pieces either side of half-time to grab the headlines.
Haroldeans' chairman and assistant-manager Fraser Saville told JC Sport: "This result just goes to prove that reaching last year's final was not a fluke. Haroldeans have established themselves as one of the top sides in Jewish football.”
Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: “We went to Liverpool with 12 men, and were down to 11 after 20 minutes with Ari Last hurting his knee and having to come off. We never really recovered from that.”

FAITHFOLD DOC MM A 2 MILL HILL DONS 4
A deadly double from Isaac Virchis guided second division Mill Hill Dons to a stunning 4-2 win over top-flight Faithfold A. Further strikes from Zach Cohen and Nick Phillips added the gloss for Brandon Hamme's men.
Faithfold's goal was scored by player-manager Avi Markiewicz.
Dons boss Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "I’ve known for a long time this season that we have the quality to challenge the bigger teams in Jewish football. Today we proved that. We dominated and played superbly throughout. I’m extremely proud of the boys and undoubtedly the best result in the history of the club. To be in the final eight is an incredible achievement but we don’t want to stop there. I believe this journey may have only just begun."
Assistant-manager Jamie Nagioff added: "The effort and intensity was spot on from everyone and we were able to frustrate a team that on paper should have been way out of our league. Credit has to go to our players who executed the game-plan to perfection."
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "It was another tough day at the office. Yet again, we're really struggling to get a team out at the moment. This time we had to take along a couple of fringe C-team players due to several last-minute pull-outs.

Manchester Maccabi showed why they are one of the favourites to win the competition after hitting FC Team for six at Rowley Lane.
Sam Hatton (2), Michael Sacks (pen), Jake Kelly, Greg Jacobs and Jack Van-Gelder completed the rout.
Richard Salmon netted FC Team's consolation.
Maccabi boss Scott McGarvery told JC Sport: "FC Team got numbers behind the ball early on and tried to frustrate us, but we remained patient and ran out comfortable winners in the end. It was a good, all-round performance in a competition high on our list of priorities."

LOS CAMDEN A 2 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS 1
An 85th minute strike from Sacha Nusenbaum helped Los Camden come from a goal down to beat first division North London Raiders.
A shock looked on the cards when Aron Gale put NLR ahead after 65 minutes, but Gav Krieger equalised 15 minutes later, before Nusenbaum sent Camden through in the closing stages.
Los Camden boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "Raiders were unlucky today and if not for an in-form Steven Murad, they might have come away from the game with much more. "Even so, Camden are back where we belong. We are now in the final eight of both cup competitions and hope to give the fans a season to remember."
NLR's Gideon Gale told JC Sport: "It was a good advert for Jewish football this morning. End to end chances, with both keepers making great saves. We're disappointed, however to have been 1-0 up with 20 minutes to go and not been able to see the game out. Credit to both teams for an entertaining game but once again, we come away disappointed and look forward our league game against their B team next week."

Goals from Sam Stern and Scott Oldstein saw Jewdinese edged into the second round after a hard-earned 2-1 win over Oakwood Old Boys.
'Nese boss Darren Lawrence told JC Sport: "Overall, I was happy with how we played and we did well to dig out the win against a decent side who were very physical and caused us a couple of problems. However, all the players know that for our next two league games against Galaxy and Fairlop, we will have to perform much, much better. We are also relishing the chance for a giant-killing in the next round against Oakwood A.”

MJSL REP TEAM 3 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 5
Redbridge Jewish Care A progressed after returning to winning ways in an eight-goal thriller in Manchester.
Nate Kashket (2), Lewis Rackham (2) and James Berkley guided RJC to victory in a game tie where they recovered from going 0-2 down after only eight minutes.
Jacob Huller, Sam Baskind and Rafi Dines accounted for the MJSL goals, which came inside the opening 53 minutes.
RJC player-manager Sam Rank told JC Sport: "This was a great advert for Jewish football - two hard-working teams from different ends of country. I would like to wish all the boys who played for MJSL good luck for their respective clubs this season. A big thank you also to all RJC the boys who made the trip. We will definitely take a lot of memories from this trip. To play as well as did in the condition we did is a real credit to the boys."

Ben Kohler (2) and Rob Cohen ensured Brady Maccabi avoided an upset against Division One title hopefuls Fairlop FC, who suffered a rare defeat.
Fairlop's goals came through Adam Goldman and Brad Gayer, who were on target for the second week in a row.
Brady boss Joel Nathan told JC Sport: “It was great to come away with a win, as we showed from 1-12 that we can battle when need to and let our feet do the talking. Roll on next week when we face Hendon as we know we need to be at our best to get a result."

Two goals from Oscar Wagner kept HMH in the title mix as they shared the points after a four-goal thriller against second-placed Oakwood.
Dale Bradman and Harvey Kaye had put Oakwood twice in a well-contested match at the Hive.
Oakwood joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "A tough game against a well organised and excellent side. Given the amount of big hitters we were missing, I thought we dug in really well today and we were only six minutes away from what would have been a great win."

Adam Ellis scored both Bayern goals in a game where the home side led 2-1 with 15 minutes remaining.
Oakwood joint-manager Simon Field told JC Sport: "Great attitude and brilliant second half performance from Oakwood as we outclassed Mincha."
