There were some heroic performances in league and both cup competitions, as reflected in this master-class from Matchday 17 of the season.

articlemain

1. ADAM ZAIDMAN (Hertswood Vale) - "Once again showing why he’s the best keeper in our division. Pulled off two brilliant one-on-one saves at a crucial point in the match to keep us ahead. Special mention to his save in the first half to ensure we kept our two-goal advantage going into half-time. Faithfold’s striker picked up the ball on the edge of the area before leathering a shot towards the bottom corner. Zaidman flew across his goal to palm away the shot round the post. An incredible reflex stop"

2. MARC CHARLES (Mill Hill Dons) - "his best game in a Dons shirt. A performance full of pace and power to cover danger and totally dominate down the right side of the pitch"

3. JAMES VAN STRATEN (Jewdinese) - "solid in defence and also a threat going forward, linking up well with Arron Goldberg. Also a vital clearance in the goalmouth scramble"

4. JOSH GOLDSTEIN (HMH) - "phenomenal performances as we kept Oakwood in their half"

5. CASEY SHARP (Brady Maccabi) - rock solid at the back as Brady inflicted a rare defeat on Fairlop

6. NATE KASHKET (Redbridge JC A) - "RJC A hotshot continued his impressive season with another two goals including his trade mark free-kick" and wowed MJSL Rep Team boss Ian Selwyn with his mesmerising skills and footwork

7. BRAD WINE (Oakwood A) - "best player on the pitch in the game against HMH. Never gave up and battled really well, especially in the second half"

8. JOSH GELLMAN (Manchester Maccabi 1st) - got on the ball and passed it nicely against FC Team

9.  ZACK NEIMAN (SPEC FC) - returned to the top of the MGBSFL goal charts

10. ADAM SHIFFMAN (Haroldeans) - goal machine was the two-goal hero against Hendon United

11. JAKE SAUNDERS (Los Camden A) - "ran his heart out and used his clever feet to control the middle of the park, Jake is hitting form at the right time of the season"
