Brady Maccabi A claimed one of the results of the day after smashing eight past Lions A in the Morrison and there was also joy for Camden Park who saw off Haroldeans and Raiders A who beat FC Team A on penalties. There was also a bumper programme in the JC MSFL as Oakwood A showed great bouncebackability skills and FC Team C hit the perfect 10. Danny Caro reflects on Matchday 21 of the season.

Faithfold came from behind to book their place in the last four of the competition following a thrilling comeback against E.Y International in Hatfield.
The Superhoops were caught with a sucker punch just seconds after Mike Pearson had hit the post, with E.Y International scoring with their only shot of the game.
With midfielders, Paul Babai, Benjy Dymant, Dan Perkins and Dan Stock in dominant mood, a patched up Faithfold, who hit the woodwork no less than six times, levelled after 68 minutes when good work from Jonny Haik allowed Pearson to lash home.
Faithfold dominated the last 20 minutes and further goals from Stock and two more from Pearson to complete his hat-trick completed the comeback.
Faithfold's Daryl Phillips, who was standing in for manager Zuriel Solomon, who was ill, told JC Sport: "We were exceptional today - all the way through the team - meaning I didn't get a chance to come on and show the kids how its done! There was just no-one I could take off.
"It was a great performance and now we're into the semis, however that game has gone now and we look forward to next week as we get back the league."

Dark horses Republic of Flixton proved too strong for Chigwell Athletic, scoring a goal in each half to send the east Londoners home empty-handed.
Saul Shapiro put the hosts ahead after five minutes and top-scorer Rob Jacobs sealed the tie with an 18-yard lob 15 minutes from time following a flowing 18-pass move.
Republic joint-manager Stuart Delmonte told JC Sport: "All credit to Chigwell. They have some quality players and gave us a good game. There's more to come from this team."
Chigwell boss Richard Slater told JC Sport: "This may sound stupid after losing 2-0 but we were superb today. We dominated the game from start to finish, had more of the play, hit the bar, post and one or two other chances."

Camden Park booked their place in round five in a match where all the goals came in the last 15 minutes.
Mike Khalastchi and Guy Marks registered for Camden at the Ark Academy in Wembley.
Sam Kersh had equalised for Haroldeans following a through ball from Sam Harris.
Haroldeans boss Fraser Saville told JC Sport: "I didn't think we deserved to lose. Both teams had their chances in a match where we played Camden at their own game."

Brady went goal crazy in the Rowley Lane derby thumping Premier Division rivals Lions A 8-1 , with Bradley Sharp, Marc Lazare, Josh Gordon, Jordan Nathan, Alex Hershman, Jonathan Green, Jon, Ellis and Alex Hershman finding the net in a mesmerising performance.
Lions' consolation came through Alex Bowman.
Brady's Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "Ben Joseph was man of the match by miles he ran the game and it was a shame he never got on the scoresheet.
"It was a brilliant all round team performance and yes Lions had an off-day but from start to finish we controlled the game and never let them settle. I am sure they will be up for revenge next week in the league."
Lions manager Andy Landesberg told JC Sport: ""Brady were everything we were not. The competed strongly throughout the hole 90 minutes. Their defending was tight and strong, the midfield was outstanding, especially the quality of Ben Joseph, and up front they always looked like scoring."

Paul Linger scored the winner as first division Lions B were sent crashing out of the Morrison as the experience of the Maccabiah Masters team proved decisive on the top pitch at Rowley Lane.
Masters joint-manager Dan Jacobs told JC Sport: "We're really grateful to the organising committee for allowing us entry into such a prestigious competition as part of our build-up to the Maccabiah. Although playing against young and fit opposition poses us a completely alternate set of challenges, any opportunity to get together, play together and even win together can only be good for our preparations.
"Lions asked lots of questions of us today - they are an excellent team with a superb collective ethic that so many teams could learn from. On the day they failed to take the one or two chances they created in a first half played with the wind, and in the end an excellently worked goal from us, finished by Paul Linger, coupled with a huge dollop of experience allowed us to secure the win. We wish them all the best in their championship quest - if they play like that every week it'll take a damn good side to stop them."
Lions B stand-in boss James Gold told JC Sport: "It was a game where had we of taken our first half chances, we would have comfortably won. Masters played well but had one chance all game and scored. We're very disappointing but now we can concentrate on the league."

RAIDERS THROUGH AS TEAM PAY THE PENALTY
FC TEAM A 2 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A 2 AET (Raiders won on 3-1 penalties)
As predicted, this all-Premier Division affair went to penalties, but it was Raiders who went through after the teams finished all square at 2-2 after 120 minutes.
Raiders keeper David Simnock was the hero for L'Orange, saving three spot-kicks in the shoot-out.
In normal time, David Dinkin had twice put Raiders ahead, the first came from the spot following a foul on Adam Posner and the second was a delicious free-kick from 25 yards.
Sandwiched in between was an equaliser from Richard Salmon following good work down the wing by Declan Selbo, and the home side took the tie to extra time when a long throw was only partially cleared and Marc Harris was on hand to smash the ball home.
Delighted Raiders boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "Firstly, I would like to compliment Johnny Pearl for arranging a back-up pitch at very short notice. Unfortunately, though, the pitch we played on was more suitable for grazing cows than for playing a game of football. With the grass clearly not cut since last September, it was very difficult to play any football whatsoever.
"The game itself matched the ugliness of the pitch and it was hard for either side to fashion out any real chances. We were disappointed to concede so late to allow FC Team to take the game to extra time, but we always felt we had enough to win the game, even if it had to be through the lottery of penalties."
FC Team boss Mitch Young told JC Sport: "I am very dissapointed to go out the cup. I felt we were the better team created the better chances and showed tremendous spirit and desire. As always against Raiders, it was a tremendous battle with two committed sides but I felt we edged it today. However, with one minute to go in extra-time Richard Salmon was hacked down by a Raiders defender from behind. It was clear to everyone it was a penalty, the referee had the whistle in his mouth and bottled it - weak refereing."

Hendon's goal came through striker RA Noe.
Glenthorne manager Sam Rosenthal told JC Sport: "The boys worked hard in tough conditions, but we're disappointed we didn't pick up all three points."
Hendon joint-boss Chaim Gothold told JC Sport: "We haven't had such great results or performances in last few weeks, so happy to go to Essex and come back with a point after a decent enough performance."

"We're very pleased to be maintaining top spot, however the teams around us a few games in hand, a top two finish could well be back on the cards. That said, next week against Lions will be a real test."

Temple Fortune recorded their third league win of the season with a 3-1 victory over Southgate Harmen at the Hive.
Fortune's win came courtesy of strikes from Kane Gilbery, Dan Orgel and captain, JC star man Brett Stead.
Fortune manager Lee Fegan celebrated his birthday in style, and said afterwards: "I'm delighted with the result in a match we had to win. I'm glad we eased away the cobwebs after the defeat against Camden and this gives the lads the perfect tonic for our trip to Manchester next week."

Promotion rivals Bilbaum and SPEC FC shared the points following a six-goal thriller, with Dan Amram, Elliott Wallis and a penalty from James Lesner on target for the visitors.
JAKE GILBERT was the hat-trick hero for Bilbaum.
SPEC FC's Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "Both teams (and the ref - Martin Lavender) were a credit to the league. Despite the conditions and both both sides putting in some strong tackles, there was not one complaint and I don't think I've ever seen a game where the ref didn't have one bit of back chat to deal with and that's with a penalty given to each side. A draw was a fair result in a game neither side deserved to lose.
"All at SPEC would like to wish Bilbaum midfielder Sam Roth better after he picked up a nasty looking injury in the first half."
Bilbaum joint-manager Mark Pasha told JC Sport: "Both teams played some great football in excellent spirit on a field that would not have been out of place at the battle of Agincourt. Whilst it was frustrating to throw away a lead, we can't argue with the result. After a couple of weeks off, not a bad way to get back into things though."

A stunning winner from Richard Gold earned Redbridge B three crucial points as they won an entertaining affair in Borehamwood.
RJC had been 2-0 up at half time through Dan Gordon and Scott Oldstein and were coasting, but Team rallied with goals from Freddie Marks and Adam Newsome making it 2-2.
Gold won it in style after going missing from his right back position; he ended a mazy run with an unstoppable finish in off the underside of the bar for his first goal since he was eight-years-old.
Keeper Matt Kemp ensured maximum points with a save of the week contender.
Redbridge boss Jon Jacobs told JC Sport: "We were coasting at half time with a 2-0 lead and got complacent but fully deserved the three points. I am looking for a strong finish to the rest of the season."
FC Team's David Gordon told JC Sport: "It was a very entertaining and highly competitive game that could have gone either way, but overall Redbridge deserved their win. They are a good footballing side who are very well organised and played with a hunger you would expect from a team made up of predominantly youngsters. Hopefully the return fixture in a few weeks will be just as exciting."

Los Blancos maintained their promotion hopes with Josh Caplin, Josh Gaon and top-scorer Adam Hersh earning them a win in a five-goal thriller against the Cats to climb into third spot.
Catford went 2-0 up early on through Adam Luria and Joel Isaacs, but Blancos pulled one back just before the break with a superb 25 yard postage stamp free-kick from Caplin - his first competitive goal for the club.
Blancos' Joel Minsky told JC Sport: "Whilst far from a vintage performance, we are just happy to come home with the three points as we took to the field with our most depleted squad of the season, with nine defensively minded players. Creativity and inspiration was therefore always going to be short - so the spirit we showed to score three goals without response after going 2 down is pleasing."
Catford captain Adam Luria told JC Sport: "We were cruising to a well deserved victory at 2-1 with 10 minutes to go. Then we missed a penalty and our heads seemed to go. They scored from a corner and then a cross which we had three or four chances to clear.
"We're very disappointed as our keeper never had a save to make yet still we let in three. Hard fought game on a bad pitch and in a gale force wind."

A double from Simon Buchler inspired Raiders B to an impressive 5-0 victory over Blizzard at Brunel.
Further strikes from Ethan Zone, Ben Hart and Nicky Woolf sealed Raiders' fifth league win of the season.
Raiders' Rich Abrahams told JC Sport: "With Oli off at his sister's nuptials, I was delighted to be able to report to him a very positive first-half performance as well as an extremely professional second-half performance.
"The first half was as well as we've played all season with some flowing passing and some fantastic counter-attacking football typified by a stunning second goal going from our keeper to their net in about 15 seconds. An outstanding performance against a pretty solid second division team.
"After a few weeks off it's great to keep our momentum going and the players are already looking forward to our game next weekend."

Brady B took another big step towards the Division Two title after a thrilling comeback saw them overhaul long-time leaders Neasden B and move three points clear.
Neasden went 2-0 up with an amazing 20-yard chip from Tony Chadwick after a great Starski through ball and Oli Josephs the other goal.
But a Reiss Mogilner double and a late strike from Sam Frolich won it for Brady.
Brady manager Josh Dagul commented: "After going out of the cup last week so late in the game, I couldn't have asked for a better response as far as the result was concerned.
"We started off sluggishly, but the comeback showed the determination of the squad. To do that is special, and to do it against a title rival is very special indeed."
Disappointed NWN player-manager Adam Levene told JC Sport: "It was a good game on a poor pitch. A draw would probably have been a fair result. We were a bit tired in the second half due to our lack of recent games."

AC Mill Hill's match against L'Equipe was called to a halt with 15 minutes remaining after player-manager Joe Levy suffered a broken leg.
A Mill Hill spokesman told JC Sport: "It has been confirmed that Joe has broken his tibia and fibula. He is staying in hospital tonight and will have operation tomorrow. He is in good spirits (and at least happy he can watch the Super Bowl tonight without having to get up for work!)"

Four-goal hero DAVE JOSEPH COHEN was the star man as favourites FC Team C hit the perfect 10 against Loughton Orient in Walthamstow.
Adam Aminoff scored the goal of the game with a 25-yard stunner, while Shim Bensoor (2), Eitan Ben-Zion, Rob Sanford and Avi Nejad put the icing on the cake.
Loughton's consolation came through Marathon man Jaimie Sinclair.
Delighted Team joint-manager Michael Myers told JC Sport: "It was a fruitful trip to Essex for the FC Team boys. They boys hadn't played for seven weeks and you could see the hunger and desire from the first minute. The pace, the movement and the talent was on show. The score could have easily been much more, a real dominant display by Team."
Loughton boss Dan Curtis told JC Sport: "We want to get this result out of our systems as soon as possible and next Sunday can't come quick enough."

Another goal from Ben Polak earned Oakwood B their 10th win of the season as they edged past Faithfold C in Garston.
The decisive moment came when Polak finished with aplomb after a wonderful cross from Ben Myers was headed on by Matt Geey.
Oaks boss Ian Tussie told JC Sport: "Rosh Chodesh and a hard fought win for us today. We were very poor in the first half and despite having a goal disallowed for offside we rarely threatened. Things were said at half time, some home truths, some hairdrying and lots of pizza was thrown in the changing room.
"We changed the shape in the second half and our midfield got control of the game and the goal came on 50 minutes. We had chances to score the second to kill the game but couldn't take our chances but whilst Faithfold were always a threat on the break we defended brilliantly, and I cant remember them having a single clear cut chance.
