Raiders B blow Blizzard away

A double from Simon Buchler inspired Raiders B to an impressive 5-0 victory over Blizzard at Brunel.

Further strikes from Ethan Zone, Ben Hart and Nicky Woolf completed the rout.

Raiders' Rich Abrahams told JC Sport: "With Oli off at his sister's nuptials, I was delighted to be able to report to him a very positive first-half performance as well as an extremely professional second-half performance.

"The first half was as well as we've played all season with some flowing passing and some fantastic counter-attacking football typified by a stunning second goal going from our keeper to their net in about 15 seconds. An outstanding performance against a pretty solid second division team.

"After a few weeks off it's great to keep our momentum going and the players are already looking forward to our game next weekend."
