Hendon C show off their six packs
Hendon United Sports Club C |
6 - 2 | Tottenham Chutspah |
| Alex Elf Adam Glekin Ben David |
BEN SLUKIS was the hat-trick hero as Hendon C hit Tottenham Chutspah for six in west Hendon.
Hendon fell behind to a quick goal to the Chutspah's through a quickly taken throw on but soon rallied and Alex Elf broke the offside trap to lift the ball over the Chutspah's keeper.
Hendon took a strong-hold on the game and after Elf's run and pass it left Slukis with a simple tap-in at the far post but somehow the Chutspah keeper kept it out. But Slukis then put Hendon in front, following up a Haki Elias shot.
Adam Glekin then dispossed a Chutspah defender and slotted home to make it 3-1. Four was not long coming and the fifth involved some superb one-touch passing which allowed Sluckis to slot the ball home.
Things quietened down a bit in the second half but there was enough time for Avi Levy to make his home debut with an assured performance and some beautiful passes. Ben David came off the bench to score a sweet free-kick and Chutspah pulled one back with 10 to go.
Hendon: Yaacov Goldin, Chaim Strom, Craig Miller, Craig Philips, Omri Makdasi, Adam Glekin, Gab Saul (Adam Jacobs), David Elf (sub: Avi Levy), Haki Elias (sub: Ben David), Benni Slukis, Alex Elf
