Thornes frustrated by Hustlers

A goal from Dan Lassman was not enough to boost Glenthorne's title hopes as they were held by a resolute Hendon team at Ford Sports & Social.

Hendon's goal came through striker RA Noe.

Glenthorne manager Sam Rosenthal told JC Sport: "The boys worked hard in tough conditions, but we're disappointed we didn't pick up all three points."

Hendon joint-boss Chaim Gothold told JC Sport: "A draw was probably a fair result in a game of few chances, played on in windy conditions.

"We haven't had such great results or performances in last few weeks, so happy to go to Essex and come back with a point after a decent enough performance."
