Holders Hendon United face a big test against high-fancied Maccabi London Lions Spartans, who won in Leeds yesterday, while Harmen have home advantage against quadruple-chasing AFC Flixton.
Having seen their treble hopes all but ended by Raiders on Sunday, Hendon could not have asked for a tougher test, with the Lions expected to put out full-strength team. But Hendon boss David Garbacz would have it no other way.
The other tie sees a potentially mouth-watering battle between some of the leading lights from Jewish football. Harmen top-scorer James Gershfield, who suffered concussion in yesterday's abandoned match against FC Team, and Flixton marksman Leor Sidle have been bang in form this season, while Gershfield's Team Maccabi GB teammate Michael Sacks will be keen to get his hands on the trophy again, after leading Manchester Maccabi to the Jewish FA Cup.
