Maccabi Masters review: November 13

articlemain

Leaders Brady Maccabi A extended the gap at the top of Division One of the Maccabi Masters League with a 3-1 win over Scrabble thank to two goals from Nick Collins plus one from Laurence Myers' strike. Charlie Benson replied for Scrabble.

Glenthorne United A and South Mancs fought out a 4-4 draw with Mancs' Richard Reggel opening the scoring with his first goal for the team. Glenthorne hit back with goals from Adam Kaye, Greg Morris, Nick Belkin and David Michaels, but another from Reggel and two goals from James Temple rescued a point for Mancs.

Two goals apiece for Phil Silver, Marc Schneiderman and guest Ashley Marks saw EDRS Stonegrove to a comfortable 6-0 win over Glenthorne C in Division Two.

London Maccabi Lions moved to the top of the table, albeit on goal difference and having played two games more than Glenthorne B. Their 3-2 win over Temple Fortune came courtesy of goals from Mark Rose, Mark Jacob and Lee Cohen, whilst Allon Schick-Maier struck twice for Fortune.

Ashlodge recorded a 4-0 win over Marshside thanks to goals from Geoff Isaacs, Simon Pampel and a brace from John Seigal.
