Jesse Levine produced a battling performance before bowing out of Wimbledon against eighth seed Juan Martin Del Potro on Centre Court on Thursday.
Having beaten Guido Pella in round one, Levine had no answer to the power of the big Argentine in the opening set which he lost 6-2.
Levine raised his game in the second set and stormed into a 5-2 lead, but Del Potro kept his nerve well to win the set on a tie-break 9-7.
Ranked 107 in the world, Levine was determined not to go out without a fight but Del Potro closed the game out 6-3 in the third set to win in just under two hours and seal his place in round three.
