Michael Klinger has signed a two-year contract extension to remain with Gloucestershire.

The Jewish Australian opening batsman, captain for both championship and one-day cricket, will stay in Bristol until 2017.

Klinger is rewarded for another prolific season with the bat in all forms.

The 35-year-old Klinger also remains the country's top scorer in this season's T20 Blast

Klinger said: "I'm extremely grateful that the club has given me some flexibility to be able to spend the majority of April and May with my family in Perth because I have such busy schedules in both Australia and the United Kingdom."
