Hendon boss David Garbacz said: "We are delighted to have persuaded Ben to make the short journey to the Hendon ranks. He is a major signing for us and is one of the best Jewish footballers in the country. He has lots of good mates in the team and should settle in well." And in a warning to Hendon's Premier Division rivals, Garbacz warned: "Expect at least two more major coups before the new season commences."

NEASDEN FLEX MUSCLES WITH TWO BIG SIGNINGS
Neasden A have announced two big signings after landing Paul Babai and Jonny Haik from Premier Division rivals Faithfold A. The pair were key players in the Faithfold team that were runners-up in the Peter Morrison Trophy and finished third in the MSFL. SHINDLER RETURNS TO NEASDEN
Scott Shindler, the JC MSFL Division Two Player of the Year, has explained his reasons for leaving Temple Fortune A after just one season to return to former double winners Neasden A. Shindler told JC Sport: "I want to play at the highest level I can, with good quality players whilst getting first-class training from Darren Yarlett. ENGEL STEPS DOWN AT HARMEN
Mark Engel has stepped down as manager of Southgate Harmen B. Engel was in management with the club for two years, one as assistant to Dan Sasto and one as the manager. Engel told JC Sport: "I enjoyed the challenge very much, and particularly last season where we survived relegation with eight minutes of the season to go. The players and the club have been wonderful however, I just can't dedicate the time to keep moving the club forward, due to work commitments. I will be leaving the management in capable hands of Marc Cohen. My future plans are not yet decided but I am sure I will be involved one way or other on Sunday mornings."

RUMOUR MILL

Following the news that they will be sponsored by The JC next season, Chigwell Athletic are ready to make a record-breaking MSFL offer to lure Alex Levack from Faithfold A. Chigs chief Richard Slater, the midfielder’s brother-in-law, is prepared to blow his summer budget on the Team GB stalwart now he knows that he will not have to cough up on a new kit. A determined Slater told JC Sport: "We're not going to let this go until we get our man."

It's rumoured that Los Blancos have also come in for Cohen, stating the club intention of Peter Morrison semi-final, promotion as champions from whichever division they end up in and Cyril Anekstein final. Cohen is still to accept or reject their offer.
What we are hearing here at JC Sport is that Dan Cohen, MSFL Rep Team and North London Raiders A goalkeeper, is intending to hang up his gloves to concentrate on coaching and refereeing.
