Magical Moss denies France opening win

A brilliant solo effort from Alex Moss earned Team Maccabi GB a hard-earned draw against old adversaries France.

Louie Basso was given the captain's armband in the absence of Mark Bell, who started the game on the bench, with Hendon United star Yoav Kestenbaum named as the lone striker.

Team Maccabi GB are in action in Open Futsal, Open Football, Masters Futsal and Tennis on Day One at the 14th European Maccabi Games in Berlin today.

Andy Landesberg expressed delight after Team Maccabi GB opened their account with a 13-1 demolition of France, with Russell Goldstein and Alfie Brooks scoring four apiece.
