Everton target Tomer Hemed gave the onlooking Premier League scouts exactly what they wanted to see after scoring in Israel’s 3-3 draw against Portugal.
The Real Mallorca striker was watched by representatives from Goodison Park at the Ramat Gan Stadium in the thrilling World Cup Group F qualifier.
"It is great that a team like Everton are interested," said Hemed. "I didn’t know that they have been watching me and it was only after the game that I heard about their interest in me. I know that Stuttgart are also following me and they have told Mallorca that they will be in touch in the summer.
"I’d prefer to play in England or a bigger club in Spain if I have to leave Mallorca, but at the moment I’m focused on helping Mallorca stay up."
