Immanuel had finished runners-up to Reach Free in the league, and they were looking to secure the cup for the first time after losing two consecutive finals. Immanuel forged into a 2-0 lead at half-time and they added a third in the second half before Reach Free salvaged a late consolation.

Reflecting on the victory, Immanuel head of PE Mr Monaghan said: “It’s been an absolute pleasure to coach this group, who have grown into a great team.

"They have built an excellent team ethos of hard work and commitment, while trying to play football the right way and the results have spoken for themselves.”
