Maccabi were handed a dream start when Aaron Goldman was hacked down inside the first 30 seconds - leading to Michael Sacks scoring his sixth penalty of the season.

Aaron Goldman then turned from provider to goalscorer, heading home a Toby Levy corner.

Soon after it was three, with Sam Hatton getting in on the act. Sam then turned provider with a fantastic solo run, resulting in young Jamie Green finishing nicely; Maccabi were four up and cruising.

There was time for two more before the break, Aaron Goldman and Sam Hatton both adding their second goals of the game.

Jamie Hatton came on for his debut at half time to a rapturous applause from the crowd. Hatton Jnr, 16, grew into the game and performed brilliantly in his first game.

However it was another Jamie who stole the show in the second half - Jamie Green - by adding another two goals and completing his hat-trick.

Maccabi start their Peter Morrison campaign next week with a tricky home tie against North London Galaxy.
