Two goals from Ben Binder helped Division Two leaders FC Team B book their place in round for of the Jewish FA Cup after over-powering MJSL high-flyers Heaton Park.

Having received byes in their first two ties, after Faithfold B and Faithfold A forfeited, Heaton Park were up against it from the off at Rowley Lane where further strikes from Adam Rones, Jon Breger and Dave Grossman added the gloss for Team, much to the delight of boss Mitch Young.

He told JC Sport: "I am delighted to get through to the last eight - credit to Heaton for making the journey down, but we were the better team from start to finish and I am extremely happy with the performance. Bring on the quarters!"

Having seen Alex Swift and Joe Copland reply, HPR boss David Seligman admits his side finished well beaten. "Fair play to FC Team they are a really good side and like a good side they took their chances," he told JC Sport.

"I can't fault my lads effort. They gave 100 per cent and you can never ask for more than that.

"We scored two good goals against a good side which is pleasing.

"From our point of view the frustrating thing is that three or four of the goals were really really soft from our point of view.

"The pitch was immaculate and I want to wish Mitch and his lads all the best in future rounds and the league."
