Danny Caro's Team of the Week: May 8

This week's Select XI is littered with cup heroes following outstanding performances on Matchday 33 of the season.

1. RUSSELL CORIN (Hendon United SC A) - "very solid performance from the big man including one absolutely super save to keep Hendon in the game"

2. BEN KON (Hendon United SC A) - "probably final ever Hendon appearance for the stalwart of over 10 years. Always produces on the big stage and faultless at right-back against the best Raiders wingers"

3. DAVID GROSSMAN (FC Team B) - "cool calm and assured"

4. GLENN DAVIS (Chigwell Athletic) - stood firm to ensure they was no way back for Brady

5. DAVID RHODES (NL Raiders A) - "along with JJ Spiro, did not deserve to be on the losing side. First-class defensive displays from two Raiders stalwarts"

6. GUY SURKIS (ML Lions B) - "a truly sensational performance, bossed the midfield and ran tirelessly all game"

8. ARI LAST (Hendon United SC A) - " a true skipper’s performance – ran himself into the ground – may just have nicked MOM from Avi Korman with a tremendous battling performance"

9. DANIEL SUGARMAN (Chigwell Athletic) - big match player scored twice to hand his team a first-ever double

10. DAVID SEITLER (Hendon United SC A) - " simply ran Raiders ragged – looked dangerous whenever he had the ball and deserved a goal. One of the best Jewish footballers in the country"

11. ANDY SMITH (L’Equipe) - "Didier Drogba would have been proud of this performance. Two class goals and a constant nightmare all game"

MANAGER: David Garbacz (Hendon United Sports Club A)
