Excitement builds for tomorrow's Etgar Challenge

The biggest Jewish schools' event of the year will take place online

articlemain

Hundreds of Jewish schoolchildren are getting ready to test their Jewish knowledge at the annual Etgar Challenge on Thursday.

Organisers have devised a digital version of the event this year as large gatherings remain off limits because of coronavirus.

Almost all the schools who registered for the event will still be taking part in the online version.

While most of the year-fives will be logging on from home, one or two schools will be bringing them especially back to school to join the contest.

The event will use the Kahoot app for the quiz and be broadcast live over a private webinar.

Children have already been working on creative challenges which were set earlier this month.
