RAIDERS MARCH 17 POINTS CLEAR
NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS A 3 CAMDEN PARK 1
As predicted, NLR won the battle of the plastic pitch specialists to take another giant stride towards their first-ever league title.

Strikes from Jamie Wolfson, Matt Stock and Oli Henry steered NLR 17 points clear at the summit. Max Saunders registered for Camden.

NLR boss Phil Peters told JC Sport: "All we can do is to continue to win games, put points of the board and lay down the gauntlet to Hendon and Redbridge who still have to play each other twice as well as many other tricky opponents."

New Camden manager Nick Kagan told JC Sport: "It was a good effort from the boys - we matched Raiders for large parts of the game, but unfortunately had a poor 20 minutes at the beginning of the second half which cost us the game. An improvement on recent games, but we've still got a way to go to turn our form around."

GOLD RUSH FOR LIONS BLUE
LONDON MACCABI LIONS BLUE 4 BRADY MACCABI A 1
A James Gold Lions Blue helped win the latest Rowley Lane derby as Jamie Kytes troops ran out 4-1 winners against the high-flyers.

Richard Gold and the ever-reliable Will Beresford finished the job.

Stanley Offord netted for Brady.

Delighted LML boss Jamie Kyte told JC Sport: "We were fortunate to play a Brady team that were short on players today. Apart from the first 10 minutes - when we were a bit shakey, we were never in danger once we started scoring."

Brady manager Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "It was a bad morning in the office, as we only had 11 players including myself available, but if we would have taken our chance and not hit the post and bar in the first half things could have been different as their last two goals were on the break when we were chasing the game. Roll on next week.

Further strikes from Craig Sandford, Adam Goldman, Aaron Goldberg, Jordan Sapler, James Berkley and JC star man Scott Oldstein completed the rout.

History was then made with 10 minutes to go, when Pete Sollosi was brought on to join his two younger sons on the pitch.

Haroldeans co-manager Sam Huglin told JC Sport: "It was the ultimate game of two halves and the first half was every bit as good as the second half was was bad. It was disappointing to crumble as much as we did in the second half and 10-1 was a crushing defeat. No point dwelling on that now, as there are still points to play for."

TENACIOUS TEAM FRUSTRATE RAIDERS
NORSTAR LONDON RAIDERS B 2 FC TEAM B 2
Dan Woolfe and Mitch Lassman helped FC Team B record one of the results of the day as they halted the charge of title hopefuls NLR B at Brunel.

Jonny Blain and Joe Tankel registered for NLR.

FC Team B player-manager David Gordon told JC Sport: "I did not expect to come away from the game feeling like we had dropped two points. We deserved to win the game and everyone was absolutely gutted at the final whistle, which came about 10 seconds after their equaliser went in."

Raiders manager Jonathan Adelman told JC Sport: “We’ve had very few bad days at the office this season, but today was certainly one of those days. Usually we like teams pressing us as we back our passing and movement to open up the opposition when they leave gaps, it just didn’t happen for us today."

BRILLIANT BEN HELPS MILL HILL SHOW OFF THEIR SIX PACKS
BLIZZARD STORM 1 AC MILL HILL 6
Star man BEN ZLOOF destroyed Blizzard Storm as Mill Hill earned a morale-boosting victory in Borehamwood.

JC star man Ben Grabiner and Dan Levene completed the rout as Mill Hill climbed into fifth position.

Jubilant Mill Hill boss Joe Levy told JC Sport: "When Zloof gets a sight on goal there is usually only one result and he went on to complete a 20-minute hat-trick, as well as assisting in a first goal of the season for Daniel Levene."
