Marciano keen to extend deal with Hibs

Israeli goalkeeper Ofir Marciano looks set to extend his stay at Hibernians following a successful loan spell.

Marciano, 27, helped Hibs win the Scottish Championship and the club have acted quickly to strike a deal with FC Ashdod.

Manager Neil Lennon has made no secret of the fact he wanted Marciano back for the top-flight challenge, prompting lengthy negotiations between the clubs.

Hibs are expected to pay Ashdod in the region of 150,000 Euros and have agreed a sell-on clause to secure his signature.
