A big win was just what the doctor ordered, and two wins on the bounce for the first time this season will see confidence growing in the squad.

The game got off to a great start when debutant Ethan Kessel released Adam Arnold who lobbed the keeper on 11 minutes to give Lions a lead.

Only minutes later Lipman scored an incredible volley to give Lions a fantastic foundation for the win.

By the half-hour mark it was 3-0 and the game was over as a contest when Lipman scored his second, this time via a sweetly struck trademark free kick.

While Lane pulled back a penalty on the stroke of half time, Lions pulled away again after the break, scoring the fourth from Jamie Jackson.

LIONS: David Myers, Adam Lipman, Jake Rinsler, Jamie Jackson, Adam Myeroff, Ethan Kessel, Adam Arnold, Jake Furman, Adam Bolle, Austin Lipman, Christian Edwards. Subs: Anthony Stockman, Jon Ellis

SCORERS: Arnold, Lipman 2, Jackson
