Eytan Rund, an Israeli tour guide, was nearly hit by the truck that rammed the group of Israeli soldiers in Jerusalem on Sunday, killing four.

He explains how, having been knocked “perhaps 30 ft” by the vehicle, which directly hit the person standing inches from him, he got up and shot at the driver in the cabin. He says he was not sure if the round he fired were the bullets that killed the terrorist, since others were also firing at him.

He said he thought his survival was a “miracle”, and thanked God that he was still alive to read to his children at night.
