A former model has accused David Blaine of raping her.

Natasha Prince told The Daily Beast website that the American magician attacked her at a house in London in 2004, when she was 21.

Mr Blaine, who is Jewish, has denied the accusation.

In a statement, Marty Singer, his lawyer, said: ​“My client vehemently denies that he raped or sexually assaulted any woman, ever, and he specifically denies raping a woman in 2004.  

“If, in fact, there is any police investigation, my client will fully co-operate because he has nothing to hide.”

The Metropolitan Police confirmed it was investigating an allegation of rape at an address in Chelsea in 2004.

Ms Prince said she reported the incident to police in November 2016.
