An early heads-up for fans of The Simpsons: Wonder Woman herself, Gal Gadot, will soon be appearing in cartoon form with America’s favourite dysfunctional family.

Details are scant at the moment – the news leaked yesterday via the Israeli-born star’s Twitter account.

Ms Gadot will join a long but nevertheless prestigious list of Simpsons guest stars including Henry Winkler, Leonard Nimoy, Jon Lovitz and Jackie Mason – who voiced Krusty the clown’s disappointed father Rabbi Krustofski.
