Sacks gets another title

articlemain

Lord Sacks is "thrilled and deeply touched" by the renaming of the Morasha school in Finchley as the Sacks Morasha Jewish Primary on its proposed move to Regents Park Road premises in 2012.

Founding trustee Peter Sheldon said the decision had been taken to "mark the unique contribution the Chief Rabbi has made to the expansion of Jewish education in this country. Morasha is meeting an increasing demand, for which the new school is essential."

For his part, the Chief Rabbi said he had monitored the school's progress and was "deeply impressed with its achievements and, above all, the warmth of it teaching".
