Ofsted has rated Liverpool's King David Kindergarten as "good" in all aspects.

An inspector found that the 74-pupil unit - which moved in the autumn from Harold House community centre to the £25 million King David campus - provided a "vibrant and challenging environment, giving children easy access to a rich and varied range of resources both indoors and outdoors".

Jewish children account for around a third of places at the nursery, which Ofsted said offered "an understanding of people from a variety of cultures".

Kindergarten sub-committee chair Lauren Lesin-Davis was delighted with the report, "especially given the challenges of moving to a new, integrated campus. It is an absolute credit to the headteacher, staff and parents that we have achieved so much."
