Zac Marks hailed hat-trick hero Jonny Franks as Prestfield opened their account in the MJSL.

The new boys were given further cause for optimism as the striker's heroics earned Marks’ men a precious point.

Reich currently lead the way but co-managers Stuart Delmonte and Tony Rosenberg were left frustrated by Franks.
Adam Wilson, Paul Delmonte and Jordan Gold struck for Reich.

But ex-Heaton Park striker Franks responded to earn the visitors a share of the spoils.

Marks can still barely believe he managed to win the race for Franks in the summer and said: “Jonny is a proven goalscorer. His record speaks for itself.

"He guarantees goals and he will score a lot of goals for us like he has done over the years. He scores all types of goals and will be a big asset to us. I wouldn’t bet against him finishing top scorer. It's about us creating chances for him to convert. As a team we will only get stronger."

Elsewhere, Nick Vale grabbed the only goal as Leeds Maccabi edged out South Manchester Sports 3rd in Yorkshire. It left the visitors rooted to the foot of the table following three successive defeats.
