Moran Samuel expressed pride after securing her place at next year's Rio Paralympics.
Samuel, 33, fought off the challenge of British champion Rachel Moris and holders Birgit Skarstein to win the women single scull category World Championships in France.
A member of the Daniel Rowing Club in Tel Aviv, Samuel said: "It was an extremely challenging race, with unfavorable weather conditions, and a close fight all the way from start to finish.
"Years of hard work consolidates into one single moment in which you need to pull everything together – and I am terrifically happy that I made it."
Samuel will be joined in Brazil by pararowers Reuven Magnagey and Yulia Chernoy who took silver in the Mixed Double Scull Final B race, and 8th in the overall ranking.
