articlemain

Oliver Woolf will represent Team Maccabi GB in the Half Marathon at this summer’s European Maccabi Games in Berlin.

Woolf, TMGB’s sole representative in the event, is an avid sportsman who has won a number of top goal-scorer accolades for his football clubs as well as playing tennis too.

He ran the London Marathon in 2006 and has focused his efforts on 10km’s distances and Half Marathons since.

Woolf said: “My aim for the European Maccabi Games is to achieve my fastest ever Half Marathon time - hopefully under 90 minutes.

"I am really looking forward to meeting new Jewish people from far and wide in Berlin and hope to emulate Mo Farah for Great Britain in a Jewish capacity."
