Team MGB unveil squad for 2017 JCC Games

Team Maccabi GB have confirmed their squad of athletes who will compete at the JCC Maccabi Games in Miami in August

Featuring participants aged under the age of 16 to represent, the annual event sees the teenagers represent their country in America in a sporting environment, whilst experiencing social and cultural programmes with other young Jewish people from around the world.

The MGB squad will consist of 45 athletes, a management team of 13 and an artist who will perform in the Artsfest – a festival of performing arts which runs simultaneously alongside the Games.

They will be overseen by Heads of Delegation Janice and Ian Aarons. For many of the representatives it will be a chance to announce themselves to the Jewish sporting world as potential future European Maccabi Games and Maccabiah stars.
