JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: THE CONTENDERS
- MOISHI LEWIS (Faithfold B) - GOAL 2 - fantastic strike, beat two men and from the byline shot it into the other top corner
- JOSH LEVY (Bayern Mincha) - great finish taken calmly with his right foot on the left side of the Norstar box into the top left. Keeper didn't stand a chance
- JAMES JACONELLI (Fairlop FC) - honestly, if Bale had crossed this ball and Ronaldo was volleying it in at the back post, you'd say its probably one of the best goals Ronaldo has ever scored. I'll set the scene for you, 1-0 down 10 minutes to go in the first half, Hendon are playing some really good football and our the boys are up against it. The ball is cleared from the Hendon box and falls to Sergio (Max) on the halfway line, who first time cushions down the Ryan Cole, Cole does what he does best and steams down the left and beats his man, the fans are screaming for him to deliver and just like the postman that's exactly what he does, puts it on a plate for debutant JJ, who buries his volley into the bottom corner, the fans went wild!
- SCOTT WAISSEL (NL Raiders B) - GOAL 2 - a 20-pass move from front to back capped off with Matt Leader’s square ball, a Ricky Lawrence step-over, leaving Anthony Shaw to play in Waissel who darted inside and past two men before applying an emphatic finish

FAIRLOP FC 3 HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB 3 (After extra-time - Fairlop won on penalties)
Second division Fairlop FC caused the shock of the season as they sent former winners Hendon United tumbling out of the Jewish FA Cup.
James Jaconelli and Max Freedman (2) registered for Fairlop, with Hendon's goals coming via Greg Corin, Dovi Fehler and Zac Lewis.
Jubilant Fairlop boss Aaron Dias told JC Sport: "I'm so proud and happy for all the players and ever growing fan base! We knew it was going to be tough today and to be fair to Hendon, they have some top quality players with lots of experience at this level but our pure passion and determination won us this football match."
Hendon player-manager Greg Corin told JC Sport: "It was not a good day for the club."

SCRABBLE FC 1 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 7
NATHAN SOLLOSI fired a fab four-goal salvo as Redbridge A finished in seventh heaven against first division Scrabble.
Having been eliminated from the Cyril Anekstein Cup at the first hurdle, Redbridge made no mistake in a potential banana skin tie, with Sam Sollosi, Sam McCarthy and James Berkley completing the rout.
Scrabble's second-half consolation came through Craig Cole in a tie where they trailed 3-0 at half-time. Boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "Unfortunately the draw wasn't too kind to us in the Peter Morrison this season and today we came up against a quality side. We had several key people missing today but I couldn't ask any more from my players in terms of commitment and effort.
"But that little extra bit of quality from a Premier Division side and some quality finishing in the end made all the difference. Although it's always nice to have a cup run our priority this season is the league and we will be looking for a positive response and reaction in our next league game in a fortnight's time."

CAMDEN PARK 5 FC TEAM 2
DANNY SHERMAN was the hat-trick hero as Camden Park saw off second division FC Team 5-2. There were also goals for Dan Orgel and Max Saunders as Stirling Kay's men did the business in a tie many expected to produce an upset.
Kay told JC Sport: "In a game where FC Team missed two first-half penalties,we found our selves 2-0 up at the break. We totally dominated the first period and the game should have been put to bed. We tried a very attacking formation in the first half which we created chance after chance, so it was very disappointing to only score the two, and if Team had converted their pens the game could've been very different.
"After half-time we changed formation and scored three goals in 10 mins to put the game out of reach. Team scored two late goals to give them some consolation that their efforts deserved, keeping going for 90 minutes. Having said that we could've and shoul've scored many more goals with so many clear-cut chances created. But we got the job done and we look forward to playing in the next round."
Jon Breger and Richard Salmon netted for FC Team. Player-manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: "It was a very even game with nothing between the sides. It was end to end at times and we bossed the game in certain periods and they bossed it in others. The scoreline flatters them but in the end it's a cup game so the scoreline is irrelevant. We missed two penalties at crucial times in the game and if we have scored them we probably would have gone on to win. We are lucky that we have them again in two weeks time in the other cup where we can put things right. We wish them luck in the remainder of the competition."

STRAW HAT PIRATES 0 LOS BLANCOS 3
Los Blancos secured their place in round two after seeing off second division Straw Hat Pirates 3-0, with strikes from Alex Lewis, Josh Laurier and Daniel Sinclair.
Blancos co-manager Joel Salomon told JC Sport: "It was a hard-fought, scrappy game on a testing surface in poor conditions. Ultimately another character-building win for the Blancos and another clean sheet – and we’re delighted with that. Bring on the next round."
Pirates boss Elliot Cukier told JC Sport: "Yet again, we walk away frustrated but with our heads held high. For our second cup game in our first ever season, coming up against a experienced MGBSFL side was a daunting task, especially when we had such a good feeling after our first win.
"But today we walk away knowing we gave everything. Fair play to Los Blancos, they scored an early wonder goal and played outstandingly well. But we know we gave everything and aren't ashamed of our performance. We didn't collapse, we played well, with key players missing, and fought until the end. A great game all round and we now move back to focusing on teams in our division as we look to climb the league."

Lions Blue leapfrogged Raiders as Sam Marchant's men returned to winning ways in a six-goal thriller, thanks to efforts from Michael Kenley, Ed Brafman, Josh Bloom (2).
Dave Cohen netted twice for Raiders.
A delighted Marchant told JC Sport: "Coming off a few tough results these past few weeks we knew we had to react and we did that well today."
NLR boss Dan Shafron told JC Sport: "We missed three great chances in the first five minutes of the game and it just seemed like it was going to be one of those days. Defensively we were poor and individual errors cost us. On to next week where we need a much-improved performance."

Faithfold's match against Redbridge B at the Hive was abandoned following a serious injury to Redbridge's Daniel Cooper. Faithfold led 1-0 through David Leiwy before played was halted on 70 minutes.
RJC joint-manager Josh Hambling told JC Sport: "The ref was right to call the game off Dan was in immense pain and as I’m currently aware his knee popped out of its joint. It’s back in place now but he will obviously need scans and it will be a long road back to recovery. He’ll be gutted as it’s been two years since he last played a run of games like this season due to injuries etc so I guess I’ll be seeing him in the masters league by the time he recovers from this one."
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "I'd like to wish their player a speedy recovery, he twisted his knee badly and was clearly in a lot pain so thoughts are with him. Obviously being the manager of my team and that we were up and bossing the game with only 20 to go I'd like to be awarded the win, I've checked the rules and it is possible but I'm sure Redbridge will feel differently. We're going to have to wait and see what the outcome is."
MGBSFL chairman David Wolff confirmed the situation and said: "The score will not count."

A brilliant brace from Scott Waissel saw Raiders B secure their third win in four matches as they over-powered L'Equipe at Old Finchleians.
David Esterkin, Jake Gilbert, Rob Blackman and Danny Bloom added the gloss for promotion-chasing L'Orange.
Andy Smith fired two "good goals" for L'Equipe. Player-manager Nick Stern told JC Sport: "Raiders had sevem members of staff there while we had one sub on one leg, which summed up the game and our season so far. Showed some good fighting spirit and missed some changes but were thankful to have a great keeper and a supporting ref."

Oakwood B produced a five-star performance, with Sam Cantor and Sam Modlin firing two apiece as Jason Stein's troops registered their first league win of the season.
Dan Ash added the gloss, with Darryl Green firing a consolation for RJC.
A delighted Stein told JC Sport: "We’re doing okay this year and scoring lots of goals - 14 in four games - but we’ve got to cut out the silly mistakes."

A deadly double from Mosihi Lewis and one from Rob Cohen lifted Faithfold B to eighth in the table as they sealed their first win of the season.
Faithfold player-manager David Garson told JC Sport: "We worked to a game-plan, survived the hurricane in the first half and with the score at 1-1, we felt there was only one winner with the wind on our backs ."

Joint-manager Alon Pinhas told JC Sport: "I'm delighted to see our improvements every week. Hopefully this form will continue. We are more than ready for a game next week against Real Hendon."
NLR boss Sam Rose told JC Sport: "In my time managing Raiders C I think this is the most disappointed I’ve been at the end of a game. I can’t fault my players ability, we know we have it in our locker but we need to be smarter on the ball, tougher and play with the right attitude if we want a successful season."
