- ZAK McLEOD (Scrabble FC) - straight from the kick-off after Fairlop's opening goal, the ball went back to Zak in his own half and he unleashed a curling and dipping strike of a shot that beat the Fairlop keeper all ends up from 50 or 60 yards. Unstoppable and great vision to make the strike

- RICHIE CAPLIN (Redbridge JC A) - from a superb corner from Nate Kashket, the ball was past the keeper like a bullet from the head of Caplin

- JONNY PEARL (FC Team) - "From everyone at FC Team, we want to wish Mitch and Sophie, as well as their families, a huge Mazel Tov on boy number 3! Only a few more to go until we have the dream of a team of Mitchell Youngs!"

- DARREN ZITREN (Temple Fortune B) - "This was our best performance of the season by a country mile. We were a cut above from back to front. Steven and I have been busy in the transfer market to rectify our recent sequence of bad results and our eye for talent has certainly come to fruition"

- ELLIOT CUKIER (Straw Hat Pirates) - "We walk away today frustrated but with our heads held high. For our fourth game in our first ever season, coming up against a strong Premier League side was a daunting task, made worse by our unsatisfactory performance against Vale last week. But today we walk away knowing we gave everything"

- PAULINE TIANO (Straw Hat Pirates fan) - "Getting such nachas from seeing three of my boys on the pitch at once (while one is walking away from tackling one of the others)"

- AARON DIAS (Fairlop FC) - "If I had a £1 for every time Brad Gayer hit the crossbar this season I would be a very wealthy man, £6 wealthier actually!"

FC TEAM 4 TEMPLE FORTUNE A 2

Second division FC Team knocked out first division Temple Fortune with goals from Richard Salmon, David Grossman, Jonny Breger and Dan Breger.

Fortune's goals came via Conor Brand and Jason Lindsay but their misery were compounded by the dismissal of Hayden Smith following two cautionable offences.

Stand-in boss Jonny Pearl dedicated the win to boss Mitch Young who had to dash to be bedside with his wife in hospital for the arrival of No. 3. Pearl told JC Sport: "From everyone at FC Team, we want to wish Mitch and Sophie, as well as their families, a huge Mazel Tov on boy number 3! Only a few more to go until we have the dream of a team of Mitchell Young's!"

Fortune's Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It was a frustrating morning and start to the season. The better team won on the day - we didn't play well enough and it didn't help going down to 10 men. We have to wipe the slate clean and start again next week."

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS C 2 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 4

Redbridge B registered their first success of the season, with Josh Kalinsky (2), Lee Cutler and Carl Dobrin the goal men against second division Raiders C.

Jonny Blain bagged a brace for Raiders. Boss Sam Rose told JC Sport: "We were on the backfoot for much of the first half, but found success in the second switching to a 3-5-2 but left ourselves with too much to do to turn the game around. I can’t fault the lads application second half though - we really took the game to Redbridge. The league is and will always be our priority for the season but it was a good opportunity to test ourselves against higher opposition.”

Scrabble boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "We are not pleased that we have gone out of the Cup at this stage but in a season of transition for the club we will continue to build and consolidate our place in Division One and pick up as many points as we can and see where it takes us."
