Sam Sloma has joined Conference League South promotion hopefuls Chelmsford City for the rest of the season.
The former Wimbledon youth team player recently left Grays Athletic and could sign a long-term deal if City get promoted.
Sloma, 26, rejected two offers to stay in the Conference Premier and opted to join the part-timers so he could concentrate on other business projects.
“Chelmsford are an ambitious club, going in the right direction and I am very happy to be here,” said Sloma. He hopes to make his debut against Eastleigh tomorrow.
