Leor Sidle continued his red-hot scoring streak as Accountants Premier League table-toppers AFC Flixton destroy The Village.

Sidle took his tally to 14 goals in six games as his side maintained their 100 per cent start to the season.

Ashley Reece and Adam Stevens also netted to leave joint-boss Tony Rosenberg purring.

He said: “It was another solid performance and a comfortable win. We were in control throughout.

"Leor will grab the headlines and his ratio is very impressive. But there were other notable displays that deserve a mention as Andy Rosenberg and Mark Bell were outstanding."

AFC Flixton now take a break from league action when they face AFC Gold Cup in the County Cup first round.

Rosenberg added: "It will be a big challenge and will probably be the toughest game we will face all season.

"The players deserve to test themselves against the quality of this opposition."
