Sela slumps out of US Open

Dudi Sela was eliminated in the first round of the US Open after bowing out in four sets against Pablo Cuevas.

After losing the opening set 6-2, the Israeli bounced back to level the match and take the second 6-3.

But the Uruguayan stepped up a gear to progress into round two, winning the next two sets 6-4, 6-1.

There was better news for Diego Schwartzman who overcame Elias Ymer of Sweden in straight sets.
