Season 2016/17: meet the teams - FC Team A

articlemain

It’s great to have Mitch Young back where he belongs – in the Premier Division.

The usual suspects will be joining him along with former Player of the Year Michael Pearson, so expect goals.

Indeed the partnership between Richard Salmon and Pearson could blossom into something really quite special.

And with Ben Binder, Andy Sheena and Adam Rones in support, an FC Team season ticket will be money well spent this season.

Lorian Madanes will be determined to show he can mix it with the best. His stats return favourably against the MGBSFL’s finest when it comes to set-pieces. Ed Bloom is held in high esteem at the club and he will help shore up a defence that conceded more than the manager would’ve liked last season.

Young told JC Sport: “I am determined to win a major piece of silverware for the club. We have won every title in the lower leagues but now it is time for FC Team to win a big one.”

COMPETITIONS ENTERED:
MGBSFL Premier Division, Cyril Anekstein, Peter Morrison and London FA intermediary Cup

HOPES FOR THE SEASON:
We hope to be competing in all competitions going out with the intention to win every game. We are not in this division to make up the numbers and feel with our attacking quality we can score goals against anyone in the division. I believe this season's competitions will be the most open it has ever been and we are training hard ready to compete. We have upped our game from previous seasons, we are training midweek and have made some marquee signings. Having taken over the A Team again I am very much determined to win a major piece of silverware for the club. We have won every title in the lower leagues including the Minor Cup but now it is time for FC Team to win a big one. The squad will be made up of my squad from last season including some big signings.

PLAYERS IN:
Michael Pearson
Andrei Grayson
Ed Bloom
Ben Binder (missed last season)

PLAYERS TO WATCH:
Good luck any team trying to deal with our strikers Salmon, Pearson & Binder. However I would highlight midfielder Andrei Grayson to be a hero bossing the midfield area and of course Ed Bloom between the sticks is arguably the best goalkeeper in the league so he will be massive for us

WHAT WILL THE TEAM BRING TO THE LEAGUE THIS SEASON?
We will bring attacking direct football with a will to win and hunger to achieve.

HOME GROUND:
We have moved to 4g, Harefield Academy

KIT:
Yellow & Blue
