North London Raiders A 6 Hendon United Sports Club B 0

Two goals apiece from Matt Stock and Igal Yahya inspired North London Raiders A to a convincing 6-0 victory over Division Two promotion hopefuls Hendon B to book their place in the last four of the JC League Cup.

The Raiders stormed into a 4-0 lead at the interval through a brace from Stock, Yahya one and an own goal following an excellent cross from Matt Leader.

L'Orange did not let up with the second half with Yahya and another own goal, this time from a dangerous delivery from Adam Posner, taking them through.

A Raiders spokesman told JC Sport: "The boys displayed the right attitude and focus throughout. The performances of Matt Stock and Toby Katz were excellent in what was a good team performance.

"The clean sheet was also pleasing against a Hendon team that played until the final whistle. Credit to them for not letting their heads drop.

"Now we can look forward to a semi-final but attention now returns to the league where we need to put in this level of performance every match between now and the end of the season.

Hendon joint-manager Motty Korman told JC Sport: "We can have no complaints with the result. Our defending was sloppy for a couple of the goals but Raiders full deserved their victory with a clinical and professional performance."
