JC GOAL OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS:
DOM FELDMAN (HMH) - outrageous 25-yarder against Fairlop FC
JAMES JACONELLI (Fairlop FC) - another stunning free-kick, this time from Jaconelli, who sent an unstoppable shot from 30-yards into the corner
OSCAR WAGNER (HMH) - turned his man and from 30 yards banged it in to top corner. Absolute screamer
ARON GALE (NL Raiders) - no doubt the best MGBSFL goal David Woolf has ever seen! Played out from the back starting with our keeper and transitioned to our back four. Out to Jordan Nathan on the left, put the right-back on his backside and then had the audacity to rabona cross the ball in the danger area for Gale to leap like a salmon and plant a header into the top corner
MATT WARNER (NL Raiders) - delicious cross from Zak Linden onto the right boot of Warner who creamed a volley top bins
ORON SHELDON (Borussia Barnet) - smashed home a shot from 35 yards, side-netting - Rashford vs Chelsea but from open play, just ridiculous
JAMES BELCHAK (North London Galaxy) - yet another free-kick goal. His third of the season. Absolute wizard
DOVI FEHLER (Hendon United Sports) - passing counter-attack where Zac Garbacz crossed to perfection for Fehler to score an absolute bullet of a header at the far post that no keeper anywhere would've saved

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK NOMINATIONS:
DARREN LAWRENCE (Jewdinese) - "We really did completely control the game and it would’ve been a very tough defeat to take had we not equalised. But we showed great fight and determination to keep going until the end and we got our reward"
GIDEON GALE (NL Raiders) - "Could we do it on an under-13s grass pitch, of course we could!"
RICKY LAWRENCE (SPEC FC) - "Rovers were impressive. A young, hungry team and fair play to them going straight into division one rather than starting in the bottom division"
JORDAN SAPLER (Hendon Utd Sports) - QUOTE 1 - "After the game was supposed to be at Hadley but the groundsman called it off late on Saturday night due to it being waterlogged, there was some strong rumours floating around that Faithold wanted the game to be played so badly, as we had a supposed 'weakend team' that they sourced their home pitch for the game to be played on. A small, cramped pitch, as opposed to the large Hadley grass surface, would surely play into the hands of a team that wanted to pressure us from the off"
JORDAN SAPLER (Hendon Utd Sports) - QUOTE 2 - "At times today, we were just too good for anything that Faithfold had and it resembled a men against boys training session at points. It has prepared us well for the clash with HMH this weekend"

YOUR WEEKEND PREVIEW STARTS HERE:
MGBSFL PREMIER DIVISION
TOP-SCORERS 7 - Josh Cuby (Oakwood A), 6 - Avi Markiewicz (Faithfold DocMM White)
FAIRLOP FC 1 HMH 5
A deadly double from Oscar Wagner inspired HMH to a 5-1 triumph over Fairlop at Seven Kings. Further strikes from Nate Kashket, Dan Hardoon and Dom Feldman completed the rout.
James Jaconelli's stunning free-kick proved little more than consolation for Fairlop.
Jubliant HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: "A trip to Essex heartland to a small school pitch is always tricky. We raced ahead but found it difficult to break Fairlop down as we were sloppy in possession and paid the price from an excellently taken free-kick from their best player. The second half was a different story as we took control scoring four and creating more."
Fairlop's Jake Sanders told JC Sport: "We experienced more frustration as we competed for 75 or so minutes, but our lack of fitness and a squad proved costly as HMH ran riot in the closing stages."
DC Prediction: Fairlop 0 HMH 1

HENDON UNITED SPORTS 7 FAITHFOLD DOCMM WHITE 0
Table-toppers Hendon United ran in seven goals without reply as crushed Faithfold 7-0, with Chaim Korman (2), Josh Bharier, Mordy Weiler, Moses Seitler, Yehuda Korman and Dovi Fehler guiding the Reds to their latest win.
Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "At times today, we were just too good for anything that Faithfold had and it resembled a men against boys training session at points. It has prepared us well for the clash with HMH this weekend."
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz conceded the final scoreline was "a real shame". He told JC Sport: "For the first 15-20 minutes we were really in the game, we played well and had the better chances. In the end Hendon outplayed us and although the score-line was harsh we can’t complain."
DC Prediction: Hendon 3 Faithfold 1

OAKWOOD 2 CAMDEN PARK 1
Daniel Seligman and top-scorer Josh Cuby guided Oakwood to a hard-earned 2-1 win over Camden Park at the Ark in Wembley.
The match was held up for almost an hour following a bad injury to Percelle Ascott in the opening 10 minutes - waiting for paramedics, at one stage the game was in doubt - but Oakwood "refocused and got the job done," according to Director of Football Dan Kristall, who took charge of the team in the absence of manager Andrea Fraquelli. Kristall told JC Sport: "In the end, it was a comfortable victory where the only way I saw the opposition scoring, was from a set-piece. We managed the final stages well, took our goals well and deservedly took the points. Everyone at Oakwood wishes Perc a speedy recovery."
DC Prediction: Oakwood 1 Camden 0

MLFC RED 0 HERTSWOOD VALE 4

MILL HILL DONS 1 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS 5
North London Raiders came from a goal down to crush Mill Hill Dons 5-1, profiting from two own goals and strikes from Liron Mannie, Max Warner and Aron Gale.
Harry Moss had given the Dons a 17-minute lead before the joint-leaders came back in style.
NLR joint-manager Gideon Gale told JC Sport: "The most pleasing thing about the game was not allowing to conditions to affect the way we wanted to play, with exceptional transitions from back to front."
Dons boss Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "We have a more manageable set of fixtures coming up, we need to start picking up results otherwise we could be dragged into a relegation battle. I have seen enough even in our depleted squad to suggest that we have the quality to go and get some results in the next few games to come."
DC Prediction: Dons 2 NLR 3

NORTH LONDON GALAXY 1 JEWDINESE 1
An injury-time goal from Reiss Mogilner earned Jewdinese a share of the spoils against joint-leaders North London Galaxy.
James Belchak had put Galaxy ahead with a stunning free-kick.
'Nese boss Darren Lawrence told JC Sport: "I’m immensely proud of our second-half performance. We really did completely control the game and it would’ve been a very tough defeat to take had we not equalised. But we showed great fight and determination to keep going until the end and we got our reward.”
Galaxy chief Luke Lewis told JC Sport: "We're disappointed to have conceded from in reality Nese’s only chance of the game and know that it’s important points dropped in the battle with Raiders for the league."
DC Prediction: NLG 2 Nese 1

SPEC FC 1 BROOK FARM ROVERS 1
Alon Pinhas earned Brook Farm Rovers a point following a hard-earned draw against SPEC FC.
Zack Neiman had earlier put SPEC ahead with his seventh goal of the season but the points were shared after the late drama.
SPEC player-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: “It was a really well-contested game and the draw was probably the fair result. Rovers were impressive. A young, hungry team and fair play to them going straight into division one rather than starting in the bottom division.”
DC Prediction: SPEC 3 BFR 1

DIVISION TWO
TOP-SCORERS 11 - Jono Gaon (Hampstead Ducks), 10 - Simon Cohen (Temple Fortune)
FAITHFOLD DOCMM GREEN 4 CLUB de CHIGWELL 3
Jamie Kent, Josh Marlow (2) and Motti Herzog Faithfold DocMM Gree secured their first victory of the season with a thrilling 4-3 success over Club de Chigwell.
Saul Green (2) and Daniel Garfinkle were the marksmen for CdC.
Faithfold manager Ben Kfir told JC Sport: "It was a really hard-fought win today. We let in a few cheap goals, very much against the run of play, but the guys fought hard played like a team and started taking our chances. I'm pleased with our first win if the season, things are gelling together. Hopefully we will keep up this momentum."
DC Prediction: Faithfold 1 CdC 3

HAMPSTEAD DUCKS 1 FC TEAM 5
League leaders FC Team go marching on after goals from Gideon Moss, Mitch Young, Richard Salmon, Ben Sollosi and Eitan Ben-Zion secured a 5-1 win at Hampstead Ducks.
Jack Wagner fired a consolation for the Ducks.
FC Team player-manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: “We killed the Ducks within the first 25 minutes, going 4-0 up after playing some scintillating football. We are a third of the way through the season and to have a return of 16 points, unbeaten and top of the league I am very very pleased."
DC Prediction: Ducks 1 Team 4

SCRABBLE FC 0 BORUSSIA BARNET 6

DC Prediction: Scrabble 2 BB 3

TEMPLE FORTUNE 2 NORTH WEST LONDON BEARS 0
A brace from Simon Cohen ensured Temple Fortune returned to winning ways as they ran out 2-0 victors against the Bears at Silver Jubilee Park.
Victorious Fortune boss Simon Linden told JC Sport.: "I'm delighted the boys worked very hard to secure an excellent win. The Bears are a good side and will take points off quite a few teams around us. But we needed to get back to winning and I'm very satisfied with the points."
DC Prediction: TFFC 2 Bears 1
