JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS

- JORDAN SAPLER (Hendon Utd) - "It’s a shame that we saw Los Camden default against HMH as that’s now 3 games they’ve been awarded points from but all we can do is keep concentrating on ourselves and keep winning games"

- LUKE LEWIS (North London Galaxy) - "Silverware determines success - we’ll do everything we can to make sure it's one season, one trophy."

BRADY MACCABI 0 HENDON UNITED SPORTS 4

Hendon United Sports took another big step towards the title as they crushed Brady Maccabi 4-0 at the Lane, with goals from Rocky Spitzer (2), Zack Lewis and Chaim Korman.

Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "Today was a good result for a number of reasons, it was great to see Josh Bentley, Yehuda Korman and Greg Corin return from injuries and be able to play a significant part of the game which only brings positives for the run in. Brady made it hard for us today and we can see why they’ve picked up some good results in the last couple of weeks."

BARRY GOLDSTEIN TROPHY SEMI-FINAL REPLAY

NORTH LONDON GALAXY 4 MILL HILL DONS 3

North London Galaxy will play North London Raiders in the final after winning a seven-goal thriller against Mill Hill Dons.

Goals from Josh Cohen, Jack Mattey, Tyler Smith and Zac Rose secured Galaxy's passage against second division Dons, who will be hoping for better luck in next week's Peter Morrison Trophy semi-final in Liverpool.

Jubilant Galaxy boss Luke Lewis told JC Sport: "Ultimately we much deserved the win, especially after the first game. God works in mysterious ways - Tyler Smith instrumental yet again, with both a goal and assist to get us back into the game, before JC gets the 3rd (as he did in the last game) - coincidence or karma? We know we can’t start like we did this time against Raiders in the final - they have a lot of quality and will punish us if we do the same. Silverware determines success - we’ll do everything we can to make sure it's one season, one trophy."

Proud Dons manager Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "We gave it our all and it just wasn’t to be. We went toe to toe with them and showed how much we have improved since the turn of the year, just our second loss all year. We had very much a depleted squad and had players filling in different positions, for us to have kept it as tight as it was is a real testament to how well the boys did."
