MGBPFL Under 10s round-up


Hendon Hawks B came from behind three times to beat Brady Maccabi 6-4 in the MGBPFL Under 10 Division. Joshua Resnick (2), Matti Karp (2), Eli Meyer and Naim Cohen were the scorers.

Goals from George Goldberg (3), Adam Ellis, Gavriel Nussbaum, Samuel Gottlieb and Aaron Benjamin eased HMH Purple to a 7-1 win over AC Whetstone in the Under 13 Division One. Matthew Levene replied.

Jonti Aremband (2) and Ari Rogosnitsky earned HISHU Blue a point in a 3-3 draw against HISHU White.

In the Under 10 White Division, Louis Black (2), Eidan Zohar and Tal Pelmont earned HMH a 4-3 victory in the inter-club derby against HMH Red.

Stonegrove Park won one and lost one in the Watford Friendly League. The club’s Under 16s were beaten 7-3 by Kings Langley in the Yellow Division. Gideon Gale, Liron Mannie and Sam Cohen were their scorers. Strikes from Adam Gold and Zachary Frey saw the Under 14 team beat Omonia White 2-1 in the Green Division.

London Maccabi Lions Under 13 earned one of the results of the day, beating Alexandra Park in the Red Division. The game was 10 minutes old when referee Ian Woods realised that Park had 12 players on the pitch. After falling behind, Lions captain Teddie Levenfiche headed home Sammy Kingston’s cross. Levenfiche went on to score the winner after Jake Rinsler’s shot was blocked by the keeper.

Redbridge A bounced back from two defeats to beat Alyth A, last year’s champions, 6-0 courtesy of goals from Nathan Graff (3), Joffe Bradley (2) and Alyth old boy Gabi Madden.

Max Russell (3), Ben Graham and Rafi Kelion helped Pinner JFC Under 12s thump Oakhill Tigers Falcons 5-1 in the WFL Green Division.

Max Dembina scored his third hat-trick of the campaign as Brady Maccabi Under 12s beat Everett Rovers 4-1.
