Maccabi Masters review: November 12

Brady Maccabi A and Temple Fortune secured victories in the latest round of matches in the Maccabi Masters League.


North London Raiders maintained their unbeaten run but surrendered their 100 per cent record as two goals from Jonny Blain earned them a point in a 2-2 draw with Lions A.Saul Conway and Daniel Stanton netted for the Lions.

Brady Maccabi A seized the opportunity to move level on points with Chigwell Athletic in third spot as they beat Scrabble 4-2 with goals from Graeme Grossman (2), a header from Daniel Wolfson and a penalty from James Temple. Steven Moss scored both goals for Scrabble.

In Division Two, the top two shared the points and eight goals as EHRS Stonegrove drew 4-4 with St John’s Wood Tigers.

Marc Morris, Ian Leader, Dean Schulberg and Ashley Davidson struck for EHRS to maintain their eight-point advantage.

Mark Nathan (2), John Perloff and Ilan Cohen replied for Tigers.

A solitary effort from Dean Ingram was sufficient to give Temple Fortune a 1-0 victory over Brady B.
