The Lions team were indebted to goalkeeper Dan Lipman, who in his first game of the season, reminded everyone of his outstanding shot-stopping when he saved from the penalty spot to deny the home side a goal.

It was Lions who probably had the better of the chances after than and striker Adam Bolle almost scored twice to seal the elusive win – firstly hitting the bar before putting one wide after the impressive Liron Mannie had squared.

Despite all of Lions late pressure we had to settle for a point before we hopefully find all three next time out.

LIONS: Dan Lipman, Liron Mannie, Adam Harvey, Adam Lipman, Adam Myeroff, Ollie Craig, Christian Edwards, Jake Furman, Adam Bolle, Tyler Smith, Charlie Rubin. Subs: Adam Arnold, Harry Hatchwell
