Lions and HMH young guns hit top form

Teams from Maccabi London Lions and HMH were in fine form in the latest round of matches in the Watford Friendly League.

A man-of-the-match performance from Samuel Novick inspired Maccabi London Lions to a 7-1 victory over Whetstone Wanderers in the Watford Friendly League U18 division. Goals from Elliot Smith, Josh Field, Josh Jacob, Jake Aspis, Daniel Jackson, Asher Martin and Joe Santhouse secured the points.

Daniel Misrahi steered Maccabi London Lions White to a 12-0 demolition of Michenden Youth in the U16 division. There were also goals for Tate Nathanson (2), Judah Yawitch (2), Max Davis (2), Ethan Myers, David Abitan and Zach Francis

Ollie Kent and Jake Greenfield fired trebles as Maccabi London Lions Blue crushed AEK FC Gold 12-2. Eli Gold, Sam Wolfson 2, Dylan Richards, Ben Fox 2 added the gloss.

A deadly double from Archie Steinberg plus one apiece from Avishai Wynne and Michael Charney earned HMH Foxes a 4-1 success over Edmonton Rangers in the opening round of the WFL U16 League Cup.

HMH Fire lived up to their name, with Nathan Gellman 2, Louis Peleg 2, Daniel Cambridge, Carlo Madar, Jake Shindler on target in the 7-4 win over Omonia White.
