The teenage sensation secured bronze medals in the team and ball competitions, as well as fifth place in the ribbon final on her debut at the Gold Coast Games.
Kiroi-Bogatyreva, who at 16 was the youngest member of Australia’s gymnastics team and trains at Prahran Rythmyc Specialist Centre in Victoria, claimed the bronze medal in the Individual Apparatus Final for Ball, with a score of 13.250.
The Year 11 student completed her first major competition at senior level by helping Australia seal third overall in the Rhythmic Gymnastics.
