Season 2018/19 was something of a breakthrough campaign for Kashket, who is 23 and from Chigwell, as he overcame injury concerns to enjoy a strong run in the League One team.
The attacking midfielder has scored 23 times in 73 appearances for the Chairboys since arriving from Leyton Orient in 2016.
Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth is delighted Kashket has committed until 2022. “Scotty’s got that fantastic ability of being able to change a game in an instant and he’s the type of player that fans love to watch, so I’m thrilled to keep him here for another three years,” said Ainsworth.
“He was someone that we took a gamble on three years ago when things weren’t working out for him at Leyton Orient, but he adapted immediately to the way we do things here and made himself extremely popular through his performances on the pitch and his character around the place.
“He’s still only 23 and I strongly believe he could go a long way in the game, so it’s a real coup for us to keep someone of his potential at Adams Park. He’s put his injury problems behind him and I’m confident we’ll help bring out the very best in him over the coming season and beyond.”
