articlemain

Maccabi Tel Aviv and Beitar Jerusalem moved safely into the play-off round of the Europa League following excellent performance in their third qualifying round second leg matches on Thursday night.

Maccabi are in the seeded side of Group 4 teams, with Shakhtar Donetsk, Sparta Praha, Gent, Sassuolo and Qarabağ.

Last season's Ligat Ha'Al runners-up beat Pandurii 2-1 in Thursday's second leg, to complete a 5-2 aggregate victory.

Nosa Igiebor and super-sub Ezequiel Scarione were the marksmen at the Netanya Municipal Stadium.

Beitar progressed following a 4-1 aggregate win over Jelgava. Omer Atzily, Etey Schecter and Marcel Heister eased them to a 3-0 win in Israel.

Unseeded Beitar find themselves in the unseeded section of the Group 2 draw, alongside Rosenborg, Dinamo Tbilisi and Vojvodina.
